MALVERN, Pa. — Feb. 4, 2015 — Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. today introduced new AEC-Q101-qualified 100 V to 600 V standard rectifiers that combine ESD capability with a wide range of current ratings from 10 A to 20 A. For space-constrained applications, the new SE10DxHM3/1, SE12DxHM3/1, and SE20DxHM3/1 are offered in the SMPD (TO-263AC) package, which features an extremely low 1.7 mm profile and is footprint-compatible with the D²PAK.
Featuring low forward voltage drops down to 0.96 V typical at 12 A, the SE10DxHM3/1, SE12DxHM3/1, and SE20DxHM3/1 reduce power loss and improve efficiency for general purpose power line polarity protection in automotive applications. With their ESD capability, the devices can provide class H3B (> 8 kV) performance based on the AEC-Q101-001 human body model (contact mode).
Built on an oxide planar chip technology, the new rectifiers feature maximum operating junction temperature of +175 °C and an MSL moisture sensitivity level of 1, per J-STD-020, LF maximum peak of 260 °C. Ideal for automated placement, the devices are compliant with RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU and halogen-free according to JEDEC JS709A standards.
