MENTOR, OH ― October 2014 ― Libra Industries, a privately held electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, announces that Margie McDonald celebrated her 15-year anniversary. Libra Industries’ CEO Rod Howell presented McDonald with a reserved parking spot of her choice in recognition of her milestone.
McDonald commented about her milestone, “I have enjoyed working for Libra Industries over the years for several reasons: the people here are great to work with, the versatility of being able to learn and work in different areas of the company, and the willingness of the company to work with me as my family needs/requirements have changed throughout the years. For example, I went part time to help care for my grandparents when their health was failing, and went on leave for a year when my youngest daughter Patience made her surprise entrance to my family. Libra Industries was my first call when I was ready to return to work.”
McDonald joined Libra Industries as an SMT Line Technician in1999. She transitioned to the role of Hand Solder and Repair Technician in 2007. In this role, McDonald repairs defective surfaces and components (through hole and surface mount) on printed circuit boards (PCBs), using approved tools (convective heating [hot iron] devices, mini-wave, power and hand-tools) and utilizing knowledge of electronic repair techniques.
Libra Industries is committed to providing customized manufacturing solutions to help make its customers more competitive and improve their profitability. For more information, visit www.libraind.com.
