Tell us about your manufacturing unit and products you are making?
We have three manufacturing sites of which two are into PCB assembly and Product integration (box build)
o Site 1 is catering to the high mix high tech – low to medium volume requirements of Defense/ Aerospace, Medical, Industrial, Automobile
o Site 2 is catering to the high volume requirements of Industrial products
o Site 3 is dedicated for Cable harness assembly
We also provide value added services such as DFx, product life cycle management, advanced test services, etc..
Which are your key customers? Tell us about your market expansion?
- Our customer base comprises of eminent names from the industry such as BEL, ECIL, HAL, L&T, etc
ABB, GEHC, Honeywell, Elta, Rafael
Please describe your equipments and machineries for products making?
We have end to end automated lines for assembly .The lines include automatic optical inspection systems and state of the art process control equipments. Post machine soldering activities is managed with a blend of highly skilled manual soldering work force coupled with Selective soldering equipments. That apart we offer a suite of test services such as Flying Probe Test, Boundary Scan Test, In Circuit Test, Functional Tests, Temperature Cycling, HALT/ HASS, Vibration tests and many more.
The rapid change of technology adding a challenge for manufacturer, how are you addressing the change of technology?
We have always kept abreast with Technology with regular upgrades in the infrastructure, investing in Knowledge management, migrating to green manufacturing,ERP driven purchase & manufacturing, deployment of lean initiatives, TQM, TPM etc.

What factors you consider for EMS growth in India?
The vast domestic requirement in itself is a huge potential. The Government initiatives to boost manufacturing is the other propelling factor, ex offset in defense manufacturing, Global outsourcing and unshackling of global trade barriers will also propel the growth of the sector.
As a manufacturer, what challenges you would like to highlight and how you would like to tackle them?
With little or no component manufacturing within the country , the complex global supply chain management is the critical aspect of our industry, that apart, significant challenges include competing with global players, handling cost pressures – shrinking operating margins, courtesy raw material, energy, taxes also pose a challenge for the sector. Short product life cycle, uncertain demands coupled with stringent Service and warranty requirements, the non availability of ready to deploy work force into the system etc are some of the challenges the industry is grappling with.
How do you welcome the Govt initiative for EMS in budget highlight? Do you have any suggestions?
The government is finally taking concrete positive steps to encourage electronics design and manufacturing in India. I would suggest that these initiatives are stepped up in pace.
According to you where is India lacking for EMS success? How do you compare India EMS business with China?
The key area that we have as a gap in the country is in chip fabrication.
