Rajkot, July 1, 2013: DISA India Limited, in association with the Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF) – Rajkot chapter,organised a technical session on “Upgrading foundries to meet OEM requirements” in June 2013 at Rajkot Engineering Association.With over 60 IIF – Rajkot members attending,the seminar was extremely well received and educational for the attendees. This session was conducted by Mr. H.H. Vignesh, AGM- Sales (west), DISA India Limited.
Speaking about this seminarMr. Viraj Naidu, Managing Director, DISA India said “I am extremely grateful to IIF – Rajkot for providing DISAthis excellent platform to educate stakeholders. Such sessions will definitely change the thinking of Rajkot based foundry men and improve their potential to produce some of the world’s finest castings. Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Jignesh Patel,President, IIF – Rajkot chaptersaid,“The Rajkot foundry belt has immense potential to produce world-class castings at very competitive rates and as per the specifications and the requirements described by the OEM’s. Automation and upgradation are the key words which will describe the future of this belt.” He was also appreciative of the session and believed that it has benefitted the gathering immensely.

DISA is active participant in such seminars as these knowledge sessions are imperative for betterment of the foundry industry. The technical session was followed with discussions and a networking dinner.
