Essemtec AG is pleased to introduce its new Global Service Leader who joined the company at the beginning of February 2014.
Klaus Salmhofer brings best qualifications to further drive expansion of Essemtec’s Global Service. After studying Engineering & Business Administration at the Technical University of Graz, he held various senior positions at Knapp Logistics Automation AG and GE Gas Engines during the last 15 years. Klaus Salmhofer brings many years of experience in customer care and service management to Essemtec.
In his new role as Global Service Leader, his responsibilities include the areas of technical support & remote services, field service and spare parts logistics. Furthermore he is leading Essemtec’s service subsidiaries & service Partners worldwide. “In addition to innovative products, a responsive and technically excellent service plays a crucial role for our competitiveness,” explains Klaus Salmhofer. “My goal is to optimize key processes and to reduce the time until issues are resolved by introducing modern eBusiness solutions to our service organization.”
Current Service and Support Manager Peter Gautschy, who has accepted a new challenge, will fully transfer his responsibilities to Klaus after a 4-month transition period ending in December 2014. Essemtec AG would like to thank Peter Gautschy for his tireless efforts as service manager for almost one and a half decades. His engagement and contribution is an essential part of the success of the company.
