Cardiff is ST’s entry-level satellite set-top-box (STB)platform that delivers superior video decoding and the highest reliability under the worst field conditions, leading to superior display and image quality and broadcast demodulation performance. The SoC supports the advanced security features of leading Conditional Access providers. Together these features enable customers to minimize development cost and rapidly build very attractive satellite set-topboxes.
